Dtube has been around since way earlier than December 2017. Unless you are talking about @exyle, as far as I know he is the only one that was constantly sharing content here when there were no $100 upvotes.
True, dtube has been around since July 2017. But when we first joined the platform dtube was still a very small platform. Spencer was consistently sharing content without the $100 upvotes, it took dtube a while before seeing his content. I would even like to say Spencer was one of the very first pioneers of vlogging on this platform along with @kevinli, @coruscate and a few others. Definitely a day one if I do say so myself.
Well considering you mentioned December 2017 it appears as if you are taking this personal and believed that I was only speaking for myself. Considering the fact that DTube has supported me very well, in addition to other whales on this platform I can tell you for certain that I was not talking about only myself.
As a matter of fact however, in December 2017 when I first started I remember you were being rewarded quite well yourself. And DTube was not throwing out $100 upvotes. And I made an effort to comment on your videos and support you as well.
My point is that there aren´t many users that can say that they supported Dtube since day one. Dtube went bananas when they got a massive delegation, before that, the only Dtube evangelist was @exyle (as far as I can remember). My point on december 2017 is that then was when Dtube boomed and started getting a lot of users onboard, and for what I could gather talking and reading through a lot of Dtube related channels in Discord, many users actually think that Dtube was born in December 2017. Nothing personal man!
When I said day one it was more or less a generalization for "the early days". If/when dtube hits 5 years in the field, it would be fair to say December 2017 is "day one." I guess I could have said from early days.
That comment I made was really just saying, don't forget the one's who have been supporting your platform from early on which was really spun off from the recent attack on long time Youtubers being ditched for celebrities.
