Digital Printmaking "Gaia's Mess"
A fun digital piece made from my painting and other bits and bobs in an attempt to recreate the layers and texture of my Real Life Printmaking. A bit of fun and folly. I am also using Steepshot as a means to try out these simple little posts to see how I feel about it. It is, in a way, the 'instagram' like aspect of Steemit I suppose.

I used both photoshop and painter. I have readjusted some brushes and palette knives in painter to act as close to a screen printing squeegee as possible and layer and cut out with digital 'sciccors' etc. The multiple tags are part of the steemshot ap. I mainly shared this as a means to practice using the ap. It's a phone ap that allows you to post directly to your steemit account and I don't know how, but it will let you use up to 20 tags I think? I'm not sure if they all actually work on here of it it just takes the first 5 or so. As I said, I am just trying this AP out I am sure @steemshot would know the correct answer, as it is their invention I believe.

Thanks. I spent a few days really just playing with adjusting tools to recreate what I used to do for my printmaking and it was fun.
Love this one too, it reminds of some art that used to hang in an old Theatre in Toronto. The Royal Alexander Theatre. Belonged to Ed Mirvish and he had similar stuff hanging in the theatre and the restaurants he owned.
