2019, before we vote, we will ask questions! Real questions.
Not just 'what will you do for us if we vote you into power, but, how will you do it? No more promises, we want blueprints. We want to see that you have a plan and not a prayer request.
We want you to be smart. Listen, being in a political party for thirty years is not a criteria to becoming our President. No. We want you to be brilliant. In fact, we want you to have gone to school, done an MSc and probably even an MBA.
We want you to have been running a successful business. Not just anyhow business, but, a major business with a 21st century outlook. A business that truly deserves some accolades. We can't leave our country in to hands of someone who doesn't understand strategy I'm this our world.
Don't come and be presenting one Foundation or NGO as what you've done. No. Now, we are looking for people who know how to make bloody deals. People who understand business, consulting, planning, executing, evaluating and being accountable. We need a tiger.
Don't present any project that is less than a year or two years old. We don't want you to bobo us. So, because you want to run for office, you now sharp sharp go and start one project like this, so that we will say you have something to offer. No sir. We want track records mehn. Long history of being a tiger.
We want you to tell us how you intend to achieve your goals. Please, promises won't cut it this time. What's your plan to pay corpers 100k monthly? How do you want achieve that? And also, motivational speeches won't do it too. Don't tell us God gave you a mandate. That's for you to brood over in your secret place of prayer.
We will ask hard questions:
What will be our stance in international politics?
How would we build our foreign reserves?
How can we become a futuristic nation?
Security?
How do we create more industries and sectors? Etc
But. First, we must even become intelligent. We must even know the kind of questions to ask and the kind of noise make. You get it?
Sense is the prevailing idea this coming elections. Let's vote smartness this time around. We've tried the opposite for too long.
