Introduction

The Steem blockchain is a good platform which enables its users to share their experience and knowledge through the Steemit Channels available (video, pictures, audio or written). The financial incentives that come with the Steem blockchain is another reason while a lot of users are in love with the platform. This post will look at a Steem related platform that enables you to carry out basic investments in form of vote trading and other financial stakes. I call this platform Smartsteem.

I may define Smartsteem as a platform that enables its users to buy votes, sell votes, Invest delegation, bid for votes and also carry out other financial investments.

Easy User Interface
The Smartsteem platform has a cool interface that anyone would easily fall in love with. The buttons are well positioned for easy navigation. It is also mobile responsive and loads on time.

The Dashboard Feature

The dashboard feature enables users to have an overview of their accounts. It is the first place you get in contact with after login.
It gives the user a summary of the account balance (in Steem and Steem Backed Dollar), Investment status (Steem power delegated and Vote selling status), Revenue (Steem and Steem Backed Dollar), Option to support the development of Smartsteem, The Smartsteem white lists, the Smartsteem blacklist, the transactions executed so far, a list of vote bought and a list of votes sold.

Promote Page

This page is where the votes trading occurs. The user can either buy the vote directly or join the large pool of other users to bid for a certain amount of voting strength.
The main difference between vote buying and vote bidding is that in vote buying, there is a guaranteed 10% ROI while the ROI in vote bidding can get to negative depending on the demand.

Invest Page

This page is where users can delegate their Steem power or sell their votes.
In the selling of votes, the user earns 85% share of profit plus the curation rewards. Users are also free to restrict their votes selling to the available white list.
In Steem power delegation, there is a revenue calculator that will help the users know the amount of Steem they will get daily throughout the delegation period.

Balance Page

This is where the user can find the account financial status. Users can make withdrawals to their Steem wallet here. The transaction history can also be found here.

Setting Page

This is where users can customize and tweak the account to suit their personal preference. Users can choose when they get paid, enable and disable vote selling, choose the voting power to use, delegate or undelegated or tweak the promotion settings.

Advantages of Smartsteem

Smartsteem gives users the opportunity to put their Idle Steem power to use and also pays them in return.
It also gives the opportunity to good writers to boost their article to the trending page.

Disadvantage

I am yet to notice a huge disadvantage of this platform.

Comparison

There are other platforms that help users boost their post. The truth is that there is none that is close to Smartsteem in terms of service delivery and added service provision.

My Experience, Rating and Conclusion

I have been an active vote seller on Smartsteem for a while now. Their platform is always accessible at all times. I am yet to experience a delay in payment. I highly recommend their service to anyone that is willing to make extra cash from his/her Steem power.
