Everybody is a musician here on Steemit and dancers are not appreciated enough
Dear dance and music lovers
I didn't know until I found Steemit that the world is full of musicians. Good!
Of course not all musicians on the platform are appreciated and that is due to several factors but I'm not going to mention even one of them in this post. The reason why I'm posting this is because I see many posts from dancers that hardly receive any upvotes. Why is that?
I want to tell you something.
The post from my second performance for the open mic scored a few upvotes and I was very happy with that. Overall the post did very well and nowadays I don't get any payout like the one from that post.

The post from my third performance for the open mic received less upvotes but overall did even better.

With all due respect to the musicians on this platform I don't see many musicians here composing the kind of music I compose. That's fine, every musician has their own style.
The point of this post is why people don't appreciate posts from dance lovers and don't upvote them. I tell you something else. I dance and I'm not a professional dancer but when I go dancing people 30 years younger than me look at me and can't believe what they see.
I'm very disappointed to see that most of the posts that the dance lovers post for the dance contest receive barely any upvote.
I make music, sing and dance. When I dance, I definitely get more tired than when I sing or play my guitar.
I have realised that most of the dance lovers who take part in the dance contest that runs since July 2017 prefer to share their dance contest post directly on https://Donatelloclub.eu rather than on Steemit. I'm not sure why. I hope it's not because they know that their dance contest post on Steemit is going to receive very few upvotes.

There are other dance lovers who take part in the dance contest that I run and whose posts receive a very few upvotes.

It all has to do with generosity(which it seems humans haven't come to yet), jealousy, and an unequal vote. As in the real world, influence carries weight. It's not about what you do, but whose eyes you caught at the time you did it, on this platform; unless you are followed by like minds and good bots.
The key lies within promotion. We have to promote our Steemit blogs/posts outside our community to encourage more people to open their Steem account, to start with. Many do not understand the importance of Steem, which is a closed community.
People can't find us in the middle of nowhere, unless we tell them how to get to us.
Believe in each of your art pieces, dance included. I'm working on doing the same.
I find it funny that all we have to do here is upvote each other to earn, but people don't want to simply upvote. Why???
If we read/viewed it, we should upvote it.
I upvoted you and the dancer, plus gave you two a view. Beautiful music. Very tranquil. Life is imperfect and mistakes are a part of the natural world. Keep on creating and letting the music flow!
