A little secret tip from me for people who think about a stress-free holiday here under the Andalusian sun and warmth but don't want to go to the hotel. A very charming corner is the area around the reservoir of Vinuela. Up there, shortly before the white village Periana, there is a small really fine bungalow complex with a first class restaurant everything in the Andalusian style, that is worth every cent.
The complex itself is called Las Mayoralas and has its own website the majority of holidaymakers there are Spanish families from time to time there are also a few foreigners. One should pay attention if one arrives with the own car that this is not too large otherwise one cannot look at the surrounding villages (Range Rover, Mercedes S-class, and vehicles of this caliber get stuck somewhere in the villages because it is too narrow), we have experienced this ourselves, the approach there is however also suitable for such vehicles whereby then already something with a bit of ground clearance offers itself because the Urbanisation lies somewhat off the road 😎

Ein kleiner Geheimtip von mir für Leute die über einen Stressfreien Urlaub hier unter der Andalusischen Sonne und Wärme nachdenken aber nicht ins Hotel wollen. Eine ganz bezaubernde Ecke dafür ist die Gegend um den Stausee von Vinuela. Dort obendrüber kurz vor dem weissen Dorf Periana gibt es eine kleine wirklich feine Bungalow Anlage mit erstklassigem Restaurant alles im Andalusischen Stil, das ist jeden Cent wert. Die Anlage selbst nennt sich Las Mayoralas und hat eine eigene Internetseite die Mehrheit der Urlauber dort sind Spanische Familien ab und zu gibt es auch mal ein paar Ausländer. Aufpassen sollte man wenn man mit dem eigenen Auto anreist das dies nicht zu groß ist sonst kann man sich nicht die umliegenden Dörfer ansehen (Range Rover, Daimler S-Klasse, und Fahrzeuge dieses Kalibers bleiben irgendwo in den Dörfern stecken weil es zu eng ist), wir haben das selber erlebt, die Anfahrt dorthin ist allerdings auch für solche Fahrzeuge geeignet wobei sich dann schon etwas mit ein wenig Bodenfreiheit anbietet denn die Anlage liegt etwas ab von der Straße 😎

Un pequeño secretito de mi parte para la gente que piensa en unas vacaciones sin estrés bajo el sol y la calidez andaluza pero que no quiere ir al hotel. El entorno del embalse de Viñuela es un rincón encantador para ello. Allí arriba, poco antes del pueblo blanco de Periana, hay un pequeño complejo de bungalows muy fino con un restaurante de calidad, todo al estilo andaluz, que vale cada céntimo.
El complejo turístico se llama Las Mayoralas y tiene su propiapágina web la mayoría de los que están de vacaciones son familias españolas, de vez en cuando también hay algunos extranjeros. Si llegas con tu propio coche, debes tener en cuenta que no es demasiado grande, de lo contrario no podrás ver los pueblos de los alrededores (Range Rover, Daimler S-Class, y los vehículos de este calibre se quedan atascados en algún lugar de los pueblos porque es demasiado estrecho), lo hemos experimentado nosotros mismos, pero el enfoque allí también es adecuado para este tipo de vehículos y, a continuación, ya ofrece algo con un poco de espacio libre en el suelo, ya que la urbanización se encuentra un poco fuera de la carretera 😎
