Bitfinex Hacked!! Again
Once again the cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex was hacked. I have been a trader for quite some time and have witnessed all types of scams and manipulation and the last time Bitfinex was hacked I pulled out all my funds and moved them to GDAX and Kraken, two exchanges that have not been hacked.
Although I have no proof, bitfinex is famous for going offline during bitcoin rallies or dumps and I do not trust this exchange one bit. Here is a post from Zane who runs Bitfinex.
I do not trust Bitfinex and never will, unfortunately Bitfinex is one of the largest exchanges and every time it goes down the price of bitcoin suffers and peoples trades are affected across all exchanges. I am sick and tired of all the hacks and manipulation in crypto but since we are in the incipient stages it has been the norm for quite some time. I highly recommend for traders to avoid this exchange.
