AUTISM is not disability, it's a different ABILITY!!

It is the day to raise awareness about people with autism throughout the world. Let us all play a part in changing attitudes toward persons with autism and in recognizing their rights as citizens, who, like everyone else, are entitled to claim those rights and make decisions for their lives in accordance with their own will and preferences.

Autism Link is a service provider and was established in 2009 to meet the tremendous need in Malaysia for comprehensive services for children and adolescents with Autism.

Autism Link Malaysia presents“Embrace The Puzzle” an Autism Awareness Event.

With the high prevalance of Autism-1 in every 68 children worldwide，this event aims to educate the public and increase awareness about traits of Autism and，what to do if you detect anyone displaying any characteristic of autism。There will be an information booth providing ABA Therapy, and first signs screening for traits of autism is also available.

There's supervisors present to assist everyone coming. There will also be a huge message board as our photo backdrop for anyone who wants to dedicate their kind words to family and individuals with autism.

This is the colourful rainbow using coloured pasta. Fantastic artwork and great creativity for a 5 year old kid.

The first activity Rhys joined the hand tattooing. The lady is asking Rhys which design of tattoo he wants on his hand. They already cut out all the designs for the kids to choose. Rhys choose the ginger bread design. Then the lady start to help Rhys to colour it on his hand using the colour that Rhys picks.

After that, the lady draws the outline and the details on the ginger bread.

DONE!!! Does the pink ginger bread looks beautiful on my hand?? The lady draws a smiley face and also my name on it.

Next, Brycen and Rhys join the colouring activity. There's a lot of pictures for you to choose. After they decide on the pictures, they can start colour the pictures using the colouring tools they have on the tables.

Rhys choose the aeroplane flying in the sky. Rhys choose only a few colours as he doesn't like colouring and he just wants to finish it to get a small prize.

The small gift is inside the box. Rhys is putting his hand into the box to grab as much as he can.

A fruitful day today.... the kids get the chances to socialise with the peoples. They also get to know more about the autism. Glad to have the chance for the kids.
