Clever Beer Can Marketing Helps Shelter Dogs Find Forever Homes

in #palnet5 years ago

A clever beer can marketing campaign that seeks to help hard-to-adopt shelter dogs finally find their forever homes, is one that has sparked interest with millions.

There is more than one company that has engaged in the marketing move, such as Fargo Brewing from North Dakota and Motorworks Brewing from Florida.

In one circumstance, the beer can marketing has already helped one owner to be able to find a long lost dog of hers that had been missing for years. She recognized him after seeing him on the can, the images made their way across social media, and as a result she became reunited with the dog.

The companies that have been using the shelter dog marketing move have seen immediate success and positive feedback from the endeavor.

For some of those dogs pictured on the cans, they are the ones who have been the hardest to adopt and they have been at the shelter the longest amount of time.

As one of the volunteers who is with a shelter that has partnered with a brewing company points out, for those hard-to-adopt dogs the person that sees that can and decides to adopt them is their 'rescue angel' and there are many dogs in need of adoption around the United States and elsewhere today.

"Dogs are a vital part of all our lives here at Fargo Brewing and we really like supporting and collaborating with a great organization like '4 Luv of Dog Rescue' to ensure that dogs are receiving the love and care they deserve." - Z. Click, Operations Manager at Fargo Brewing

Aside from helping dogs to find forever homes they are also helping to raise money for building a new shelter and to raise funds to go towards various animal charities as well.

The combination has been so successful that now even Coors Light has caught on and embraced the dog + beer pairing.

Coors Light has recently launched a Coors For Canines Offer that will seek to reimburse those who go out and adopt a shelter dog.

As a recent V-day promotion, that is going until Feb 20th 2020, for those adopting dogs, Coors Light has promised to reimburse the first 1,000 for the adoption fee up to $100. Though some adoptions in certain regions reportedly aren't qualified for the reimbursement, such as Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Cali, Texas, South Dakota, Virginia, and WV.

Reminds me of a drink call two dogs.

how are you liking the new layout? it is taking some getting used to but so far I am enjoying the changes

Although on the laptop is ok, I'm still finding working on the phone difficult. Maybe i need more time to figure out.

It is a very clever marketing idea that brings homeless dogs into loving families. I love the whole concept @dotivoluntariy.

What a wonderful and heartwarming of being united to her dog! I am a dog lover, I have three... and they are a big part of me, like family. I am all for building shelters for homeless dog, but more so for homeless families.
Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely evening, and take care my friend, @doitvoluntarily 🥰🌺🤙
