Snow in KC
I may not have ever mentioned my dislike for snow and ice. I have two harsh life stories of snow and ice. One involves frozen ears and a stuck tractor in an Indiana blizzard. The second involves breaking both bones in my left leg just above the ankle. Neither experience was ‘fun’.
Today looking out of my hotel window I see snow and ice. So far, we have had neither in Oklahoma this winter.
We are here in KC to resolve my mother’s future care. Honestly, I would rather jump into this hotel’s outdoor swimming pool, than convince my mother to accept my decision about her future. She has always been a strong woman who was in control of her own life. Accepting my authority over her will be a tough pill to swallow.
I am personally attempting to submit to my adult children now while I am still reasonable.
Here is today’s beauty.
I understand what you are going through. My sisters and I had to do this for my mother about 15 years ago. Have a nice day in the snow.
Good @doctorjohn good luck with your business ..
My parents have told me many times if they act like their parents did when they get "old" to just put them in a grave and bury them. I just threaten to send them to a retirement community in Florida when they get grumpy.
100" of snow in the first 18 days here in Indiana Considering 2017 we made it pretty much the first 11 months with no snow I think it's making up for the previous year and then some.
@doctorjohn thanks for sharing your dislikes and have wonderful days ahead hope for your awesome future
@doctorjhon, of course and of course cold, try to spend time on vacation to the tropics would be very enjoyable
Snow and winter it is mercy from God, any God given were the best for us, let's just say it is a challenge that must be lived, that's life ...
No @doctorjohn you do not have to be traumatized like that, you should be grateful for such an event. Because behind all that must have a very big meaning. Why I say so, because I really want to see snow. In my country there is no snow, so you are very lucky. thanks @doctorjohn
I love snow @doctorjohn because in my place there is no snow
