A message to myself

What to write? What to write? What to write? That is in my mind right now. I don't know where to start. I don't know what to write. And, I don't know how to deliver it. Maybe, I should be by myself and express as is.

It is hard to start writing, especially, you who have no background at sharing thoughts and opinions through writing. I got this interest in writing because of a friend who introduces me SteemIt and the opportunity it gives. So, as a new writer, doesn't have knowledge about this thing. I should first research about how to write a readable and understandable blog. Let's gooooooooo...gle it. LOL

Well, someone says it is normal for all writers to get blocked. You know, you're sitting there and staring blankly at a blank screen that's waiting for your input. It is normal. I feel the same way. So, what I did is to write the first letter, then the first word, then it became a sentence and later on, I got my first paragraph. Bravo! But, after that, you reread it. And thinks that if you share that, you will look like a stupid.

I found another thing, or words rather. It says 'Stop being judgey'. Judgey is not a word that can be found on any dictionary. We constantly judge our own ideas, and “I have nothing to write about” is often shorthand for “I think all my post ideas are too stupid to publish.”

Just write, @dobydam. Don't worry about the larger narrative. Don't worry about engaging readers. Don't even worry about your spelling and grammar. Just write — everything what is on your mind. You can edit and rephrase it later. And you too. Yes, you who is reading this blog. Start writing, and don’t think about publishing. Just get your fingers moving.

You might also scrap what you did, but at least you were writing. Keep up the momentum and move on to another post.

Another interesting words has been found again, it says 'Go with your Gut'. Who cares about what you share. It is you who shared it. They'll just read it and leave it if it's not good. Write and write and you will be a good writer... soon. Back to 'Go with your gut'. Think about what you’d say if a friend called you and asked you a question — how would that conversation start, and where would it go? That is what writing about. Conversing with people, like now, I am conversing with myself like an idiot. But worth it. [Staring at the Post button} I hope I can click that 'Post' button later.

Always remember, @dobydam, that people read your blog for you. They will read it as they are you. They might like or hate it. It is normal. All individuals have haters, even God, you know that. Don't be afraid to be hated. Some people will really like you.
