Another night without freedom

in #venezuela7 years ago

I live in Caracas the capital of Venezuela, as many people known for several years the country has been immersed in a delicate political climate due to the discontent of the people with the government, a government which has been stealing the riches of the country to satisfy the wishes of those who hold the positions of power.

Due to this situation for several months the town took over the already forgotten protests, it’s not the first time that people took to the streets to express their displeasure against the government, once again a large number of Venezuelans leave their home to be on the streets to demonstrate their discontent, this departure in large quantities by the Venezuelans has took place in various sectors of the country, one of the most prominent is the Capital Caracas.

During the days are carried out constant protest that are brutally repressed by the armed force of the country clearly biased in favor of the government, this has caused that the simple fact that a group who wants to lock a street ends with a gas smoke tear and a few shots of part of the armed force, coupled with attempts to flatten the dwellings.

I live near the center of the city, in the evenings the protests in front of my house are very frequent, the people who live in my building and in the nearly ones go down to lock the street where the cars circulate and soon the guard arrives to make their own, the block where these buildings are located becomes a pitched battle where you do not know what can happen, from my apartment I cannot see the main street so the intrigue takes hold of me by not being able to observe anything, only the great amount of detonations on the part of the police followed by a shower of insults coming from one of the buildings is heard.

Ask a neighbor to give me a report of the situation or risk to observe myself the panorama has become the bread of almost every day, a desperate situation before which is not known that will happen, every night is heard screams of terror and firearms that we do not know where they will end.

I would like to see a free Venezuela, but at least I would like to know how much to bear for it, I do not write this post as a way to ask for help, simply to vent the discard that I have while I do not know how the block will dawn if the military have not managed to enter the building during the night.

Hope the situation improves in Caracas soon. But I am doubtful of that outcome.
