It's not all that simple though, how much you make all depends on how many ppl upvote your post as well as what the steempower of the ppl that upvoted is. The higher the steempower of the voter the more $$ you get for earning their upvote. For example, i posted these 2 posts
The first post i received 16 votes and 1 person commented. I got paid $6.62.
The second post i received 111 votes with 8 total comments. I got paid $0.62.
