Succeeding when taking a huge step towards greatness means we must carefully plan, and objectively consider all the stakes before taking the leap. Everyone wants an outstanding outcome from their decisions. No one wants a negative consequence. Infact we all deserve the best things out of the decisions we make.

The truth is you have little or no control over what will happen with your plans but the good news is you can atleast work to see it through that everything turns out fine. Half the times we make plans, the God factor must always intervene on our behalfs so far we were objective and truthful along the line. Forget what the pessimists would tell you about 'mental modal'. All you need is the right attitude and mind which is the edge you have. Objective thinking and plans is the key, although not an assurance. At least we an always count on it and that's paramount. Good or sound decision-making is important for scaling through hurdles and living an efficiently productive life.

Let us go through a variety of things to do when you want to make those decisions that you won't regret in the long run;

• Allow yourself the right frame of mind:

Now this is very pivotal and should come first. Our mood always influence the outcome of every decision, let's not ignore it. Always know when your mood is not on track and adjust it quickly before taking any decision. Your frame of mind is what you feel at the moment. It's not a reflection of the reality on ground of which you will regret it if you make a choice from a wrong frame of mind.

  Take a deep breath
  A walk,
  Sleep well, or
  Listen to good music to
  clear your mind

Adjust into a good and positive frame of mind

• Think it over and consider all the stakes:

Personally I don't hurry through any of my plans at all; I always think them through carefully enough before threading that part. This is what will most definitely influence the outcome of your decision; think your plansthrough.
Consider the end result of that decision. Think of the pros and cons, what's the value it's going to add to your life? Identify what is propelling you towards that thought; are they compatible with your interests, values and well being?

Again, think them through before you act!!!

• Consult superior authorities:

Yes, this will give you an upper hand over negative outcomes. When you consult higher authorities you get insight from their past experiences. You also get their support and encouragement. This is very important because you could never have done it alone. Nobody achieves great things alone. People's support and back-up it important. Very crucial so seek for advice and wisdom from either your mentor, spouse, grandma, etc.

Even a word of prayers from your pastor would do. seriously.

     Submit it all to God:

Positivity must always be part your daily existence

• Don't let fear stop you from deciding a hard truth. Never allow fear into whatever you do!

• Give no room to second-guessing. In the end whatever happens will only teach you a lesson. We all have regrets so what's the point anyways?

Once you have made a decision, follow it up immediately with the right attitude. Don't doubt the outcome, dont fret. What will be, will be. But I assure you that you were created to experience success in all your endeavors. Yes that's it!
