Saturday Brunch Time
Good morning everyone!
An awesome brunch of pancakes, bacon, strawberries, honey and camembert cheese cooked to perfection by the girl-child and served with coffee made by the Xman.
The only thing that we did not find cool is the 3 layers of packaging for the camembert that PRESIDENT CHEESES wraps this product in. I might have to consider not supporting them in future. Shame on them.
We spent a lazy morning enjoying a lie in listening to music from days gone by with @xcountytravelers and @thekittygirl on the discord music channel. Awesomeness in itself. 😊
It's Saturday and the aim for today is spending some quiet time with the family!

I have never had cheese out of a can before. Or maybe I have and just didn't know it. I assume it stay fresh longer.
At least its not plastic wrapping.

Howdy dkkarolien! What an amazing breakfast that is, oh my gosh that looks wonderful! What is wrong with the packaging, too much with the metal? You don't normally see cheese in cans unless it's for long term storage.
Haloa from the island. It was indeed an amazing breakfast. My daughter is a whiz at this. I taught her well what can I say? 🤔 😂 The cheese was wonderful but... It came in foil, in a tin, in a box. So much packaging for such a small piece of cheese? 🤔 We normally buy it wrapped in only the foil. It's a brand we used to buy often in South Africa. We just thought the packaging was a tad excessive given that we are trying to save the planet from too much waste. 🤔😊 However thank you for stopping by. Good to see you.
Howdy today dkkarolien! I understand about the cheese packaging, that seems totally excessive for sure. The only advantage is if you wanted to store it for longer term. Does everything on the island get shipped in from the mainland or do you have farms that produce things there?
