What a day... ☆ こんな日もある...
Hi everyone...
I took the picture above this morning on a walk.
The beach was still nice and quiet with a few joggers and dog walkers.
It'll be filled with too many people coming from all over the city soon.
Anyways...
I've been trying to draw the same thing since last night and it hasn't been successful.
I was going to skip posting for today but why not post my failures!
Well, I'm trying to draw a beetle with patterns.
I used to catch these big bugs in the summer and kept them as pets as a child.
It's very common in Japan.
It's even sold in stores!

上の写真は、今朝お散歩の時に撮りました。
お天気よし！
人も少なくて静かで良い感じでしたが
そのうち、どこから湧いてくるのか(笑) 平日でもビーチは人でいっぱいになります。
さてさて、ワタクシ、昨夜から同じ物が思う様に描けなくて苦戦しています。
今日は投稿するのを諦めようと思いましたが、たくさん失敗したので発表してしまえ～
という事になりました。
夏と言えば！
カブトムシ！
子供の頃はカブトムシに夢中になっていましたよ^^
かっこいいですよね～
I drew the top right one first.
Actually, they say there are no such thing as mistakes on pattern art.
I just didn't like it😭
So, I traced it and drew the top left.
I didn't like it again 😤
I gave it to my daughter because she said she wanted to colour it.
I traced it again but I'm a bit too tired to draw now.
I will try again tomorrow.
右上のものを最初に描きました。
パターンアートには失敗はないということなのですが
気に入らないのでトレースして描き直すことに😭
描き直したのが左上のものです。
でも、また気に入らない😤
次女ちゃんが色を塗りたいと言うので、あげました。
カラフルに、ものすごく雑に塗ってくれました。
全く違う虫に見えますね🤣
本物のカブトムシは見たことがない次女ちゃんです。
そして手前...またトレースして描き直そうと思うのですが、今日はもう無理です。
最近なぜか腕が重くて、長く描いていられません😭

Even your so called failures are works of art.
When I look at my failures now, they don't look too bad.
There are no such thing as mistake on pattern art...I guess it was just how I feel when I look at them.
You are right. All in the eye of the beholder. :-)

Very nice photo. Blue skies are nice, but when cloudy and depending the clouds it can become a spectacular picture like this one.

今日は久しぶりに暑い日になりました。28度！うひひ☺
カラフルなカブト虫、いいですね。そちらは28℃で暑い方ですか？メルボルンの夏は、とても暑くて過酷です ^^;
バンクーバーの夏は涼しくて快適です。
30度を超えることはあまりありません。あったとしても1、2週間かな。
こーいう空の写真って、Steemitになかなかないイメージ。意外と。そんなことをコメントしたくなりました。
こちらの空(雲)はいつもこんな感じかも。。。
日本の空はもっと暑そうですよね。
How good that you post your mistakes or at least work that you do not get to like at the end, if I dared to do that, I would have to make hundreds of publications. hehehehe
