Toronto based Inner City Dance burst out of the gate with a storming double A sided release from rapidly rising production talent, Schematic.

After debuting on the label at the end of 2015 with his steamrolling remix of Dcision & Shotz "Special Days", Schematic steps up to Marcus Visionary & Lush's growing imprint for his own stand alone single. Real name Dan Dubois, Schematic has been steadily building a reputation for himself out of Toronto as an artist to take very seriously, be it through his diverse, precision productions, his impeccably selected DJ sets or his technical prowess as the city's go to mastering engineer via his analogue & digital mastering studio, Schematic Sounds.

Schematic increases the energy right from the edge on "Yeah, What?" , laying down a rugged bell break that instantly grabs hold of your body forcing you to move. Ragga calls, cascading arpeggios and a filthy call and response B line all combine to give the track its inherent Jungle feel. Fans of the classic rolling sci fi sound of mid 90's Ram tunes or the driving riddim experimentation of Jonny L will immediately catch the sonic lineage on display here, brought bang up to date with Schematic's skillful production.

The aptly titled "Creep" sees Schematic rolling into the future with uniquely skipping beats and a lurking, submarine bass line that he expertly morphs and undulates throughout the track with razor sharp accuracy. Tension building atmospherics and classic "Move that body/ Work that Body" House music refrains give the whole piece a dark and underground flare without compromising the late night sleaziness and languid intimacy that permeates all through the tune. After breaking down to just the hypnotic vocal loop, Schematic deftly twists the bass line into a ferocious, side stepping riff that ups the aggression that had been bubbling under the surface to the boiling point, taking every head down, eyes shut raver on the dance floor with it.
