Sweet Coin Roll Hunt Find
Our 9 year old likes to go coin roll hunting for wild silver. As we often do, we picked up a roll of quarters about a month ago and somehow we have been so busy that we hadn’t even searched it yet. Last night we took the time to take a look, No Wild silver but still a big score!
We found 14 America the Beautiful Coins, 12 different designs, our Son was yelling Jackpot!!! LOL, needless to say last night we also ordered a collectors folder for the coins. https://www.ebay.com/itm/222807176939
We had seen these in our change occasionally but when we saw so many together we knew we had to have them all! Our son has his own silver stack started with some that we have gifted him and pieces that he has bought with his own money and some world money he has found, this was different for him, he had not seen the potential for having the entire collection before, he now wants the whole series.

Coin roll hunting is more than just another way to get kids excited and understanding money, it is a chance to spend some great time together, having fun.
There were also 8 state quarters, we will need to order that folder next.

And just like that a new passion and a cool collection were started and not to mention a fun memory was made.

So cool that your Son is interested in coin collecting. That is how I got started. Dad had a Morgan I just loved and I have been searching change ever since!

That's great that it's a family activity! It's also good that it's inexpensive. Your $10 roll of quarters is still worth $10 when you are done.
I have the State Quarters complete collection in PR70. As I am not in America, I could not search my pockets to find them, so I had to buy, one by one, at Ebay. The feeling , when I completed the series, was wonderful. Your son will love the search and will feel the same.
