When it comes to insects, butterflies are the most visually beautiful; some are easily identified due to the vibrant and appealing colour and design on their wings, but others are hidden due to the protective pattern on their wings.
Butterflies can be seen from the time the snow melts and the ambient air temperature rises until the last warm days of the autumn season. For example, urticaria, lemongrass, and peacock's eye bloom in the spring when the daytime temperature is 10 degrees or greater for a number of consecutive days.
