Contest Alert:1 picture 1 Story Week #51

Every year on 2nd October, a fair called Gandhi Mela was held in our town. All of us children used to go to that fair with our parents and buy lots of toys. There were also various kinds of toys in those fairs which all of us children used to blow with our bubbles. When we all used to buy toys together, it was very fun to play with these toys. There were many swings and children's toys and many other things for sale in that fair.

Seeing this picture reminded me of my childhood. We sisters, brothers and our neighbors used to play together and share all our toys among ourselves. Whenever one of us brought a new toy from the market, we used to have a lot of fun with it.

Once when we went to the fair with our parents, some poor children were also roaming around there. And whenever we used to sit on the swing, or eat something, or buy something, I used to feel as if those children were watching us. I felt very bad for those children. And I felt like giving them all my things.

I said to Papa, Papa, let's buy something for them too. These children are very poor, their parents are not able to buy them toys. They are also children, they must also feel like playing like us.

Hearing these words from my mouth, Papa started looking at me with great love. And said, okay my child, we will bring some toys for them too.

Then Mummy bought some toys for those children too and gave them to them. Those children became very happy and started dancing happily and started playing with those toys with great love.

Then I became very happy seeing them.
