Steemit Blog post vs Article?

Hello Everyone!

First of all, the answer to the title of the post is: Blog post and the "Article" you would write using the pencil icon, is the same thing.
I am realizing it as I type this, but right after creating the account, for some reason, I wanted to know the difference and spent a good deal of time looking for an answer. For this reason, I am making this post, and that other people with the same inquiry will hopefully find this post useful.

Now, another good news for the community:
I, of course, heard about Steemit for quite some time, but today, I decided to actually "get in", so the good news is that this community keeps expanding and holds the public's interest at the ever elevated level.
