MARIJUANA AND HEMP
MARIJUANA AND HEMP ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.
Hemp and marijuna looks very similar but actually are different plants, which belong to the hemp Polevoy.
As mentioned earlier, apparently there is no particular difference except for flowering marijuana buds, which contain a high content of Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol or THC. It is this substance and causes a state of narcotic intoxication, and cannabis, this substance is less, so the feeling of euphoria is minimal.
In 1937, the U.S. government officially allowed the use of marijuana, but was imposed the tax act. You can use, but for sale have imposed a huge tax, so to afford it could not everyone. At that time marijuana and hemp and have become associated as one and the same.
During the Second World War, the Americans created the film "Hemp for victory", where in the brightest colors described useful and practical properties of hemp. The US government denied the existence of this film until 1989, when the Amateur cannabis advocate Jack Herrer could find and gave a copy of this film in the library of Congress.
THE USE OF MARIJUANA FOR HEALTH.

Scientists from American universities of California and Alabama conducted an experiment in which he asked a Guinea 5000 how to smoke, for the sake of science. The result was stunning.
1) Those who occasionally indulge in grass - those increases lung capacity and expiratory force becomes stronger than those who did not use marijuana;
2) Cannabinoids are a great way to prevent lung cancer and besides, people just can't die from an overdose of marijuana.
THE ORIGIN OF THE MARIJUANA.
There are at least 2 theories on the origin of the word "Marijuana".
- The first states that marijuana is derived from the 2 women's names Marie and Joanna . In the 19th century the so-called all port prostitutes from the coast of Mexico.
- The second says that marijuana is translated from derivative words «maraguanquo», means - "Intoxicating plant."
For the first time this plant is designated as cannabis in 1873

I have no idea what polevoy is, but hemp is cannabis, it is cannabis sativa as opposed to cannabis ruderalis and cannabis indica.
