'Rossi move'
Lately I mentioned so called 'Rossi move' in my hypotheses about Marquez and his possible move from Honda. These thoughts prompted me to remember Eddie Lawson four time MotoGP world champion and first rider to win back-to-back championships on different bikes.
Before this move he was already triple champ with Marlboro Agostini Yamaha. He spent six years in that team, winning titles every even year. Maybe that was his motivation to change teams and manufacturers - to prove that he is not only even champion in top team. So he moved to Rothmans Honda in 89 and won his fourth title same year on a new machine.
It is funny that Honda and Yamaha were champions in turn from 1983. And by his victory in 89 on Honda Eddie supported this 'tradition'. Just before came an era of Wayne Rainey and Yamaha.
Meanwhile first day of the official MotoGP test at Sepang has ended. It's to early to judge, but I'm glad to see Jack Miller high in the mix on Ducati. Let's see what results will be on Monday.
