Today I'm going to tell you about the Vigilante. His real name is Adrian Allen Chase.

The action takes place on Earth-One in New York. Adrian is a district attorney who wants to send all the criminals and bring them to justice.

Due to the showdown between the Teen Titans (One) and Brother Blood (One), the latter exposes them as enemies. As a result, Allen fails to find enough evidence against him. As part of the Teen Titans:

Chase chastises the team for this, after which he diverts the attention of the press to himself. Bethany Snow (One), who is a member of the Church of Blood, as well as the only source of information at the moment, inundates the main character with questions. When Adrian's office explodes, he and the entire press are inundated with debris. Most of the Titans free them, it turns out that the explosion was caused by Starfire, distraught for some unknown reason. Running out into the street, everyone understands that the instigators are the Gordanians (One). When Teen Titans go into space to help a team member, the actions captured on camera clear them of all charges.

A few days later, Allen goes to the cinema with his wife Doris. At the entrance, an unknown drug addict boy tries to stab the main character. When Adrian takes the knife away and tries to calm the boy down, he hits him and throws himself under the nearest car. The corpse is taken to the morgue, and Doris offers to leave town. Allen calms her down.

The next day, Chase finds out about the release date of a new batch of drugs. Since the Turkish police stopped the sale of drugs on the streets, the mafia has connected its European connections. As a result, the new batch must be delivered by the children to the nearest police station. It also turns out that these children don't even have anything to lose. Having met Cyborg and Raven, the main character asks them to help solve the case. They find one of the dwellings where the people of the drug supplier raise the abducted orphans as drug dealers. In the evening, at the right police station, Adrian tells the Titans what is happening and asks them to break the law for the sake of justice. The latter agree. A few hours later, Allen brings Roy Harper (One), who is the link between government agencies and local authorities, to the rescue. They are also joined by Paul Taylor (One), who turned out to be the older brother of that boy, who came to investigate his death. The heroes find out that Anthony Scarapelli (One) is behind this drug trade. Realizing that the Paul can interfere with the operation, Raven reads his thoughts about secret passages, and then knocks him out. In the morning, the Teen Titans and Roy go on a mission, and Chase decides to contact the authorities and then move.

Later, the main character sees a beaten secretary, Mrs. Corben (One). It turns out that it was Taylor who did it, who went off the rails. Arriving at the place of the transaction with the police, Adrian learns about the successful operation, after which all the criminals are arrested, including Anthony himself. Unfortunately, half of the hostages died.

A few days pass. Allen has a new lead on Blood. Robin and Koriand'r come to him and his family. Chase brings them up to speed. Arriving at the TV studio, the trio meet Bethany, who offers them to hand over Sebastian in exchange for protection from repression. Especially from the Brotherhood of Evil (One), which includes:

An unknown person destroys the studio, then runs away. Fortunately, Dick and Kory manage to protect the main character and Snow from the wreckage. It turns out that the Brotherhood needs Raven. Adrian accompanies Bettany to her apartment, and the heroes go to help their comrades.

A few days later, Allen and Grayson break into the house of the freed Scarapelli. In the process, Chase learns that Batman (One) has a new Robin. The two knock out all the guards and re-arrest Anthony. When they return to Chase's apartment, Robin condemns him for taking advantage of his heroic status to break the law. Dick is leaving.

Later, the main character sees a doll delivered by a certain "Uncle Arthur". When Adrian realizes what is happening, the doll explodes. The explosion destroys his entire apartment. Waking up in the hospital, Allen learns that his wife and children are dead, and realizes that this is the work of Scarapelli. After escaping from the hospital, creating the right costume and taking the right revenge weapon, Chase decides to deal with Anthony and his gang once and for all.

The next day, the main character kills a sniper who tried to shoot Grayson and Anders. Adrian ties up the corpse and stealthily places it at the entrance to Scarapelli's house, after which he sees how he and his people are shaking with fear.

Later, arriving at one of Anthony's warehouses, Allen sees a battle between the Teen Titans, joined by Terra (One), Bazooka (One), Spear (One), Tanker (One), Cheshire (One), Slasher (One) and Scorcher II (One). Chase realizes that the latter were sent by Scarapelli. Deciding to help the Titans, the main character imperceptibly shoots a Slasher through the head, after which he beats the Scorcher with nunchucks to death. Adrian tries to shoot Cheshire, but she dodges and runs away.

After some time, Allen sets fire to all of Anthony's weapons depots. After learning that Scarapelli's meeting with a foreign criminal organization was unsuccessful because of the Teen Titans, Chase kills all the guards of his house, after which he waits for the leader inside. When he returns to his apartment, the main character strangles the driver to death, after which he tries to kill Anthony by chasing him around the building. Having cornered Scarapelli and taken off his mask, Adrian declares that Allen's identity is dead. Someone else took his place, or something else. When Robin suddenly appears and tries to stop Chase, Anthony tries to shoot both of them. As a result, the main character knocks out Dick and shoots Scarapelli's head, after which he escapes.

Later, Adrian decides to adopt the nickname coined by reporters- the Vigilante.
