Trip to the Last Kingdom

It’s been a long time since my last post. Its Happy to see this community is still running and going good. Recently I switched to a new job and shifted to Galle.
Here is the story about my last weekend visit to Kandy. Kandy is the city and capital of central province. Train is the best transport method to visit Kandy. And this train ride is very famous among tourists but I feel its lack of facilities there is no proper reservation system and train was over crowded. Better option is book tickets early. Here I described places I visited.
• Temple of tooth relic ( Sri Dalada Maligawa)
This is the reason why Kandy is so famous. One of the best places to visit in Sri Lanka. I visited this place on a weekend hence it is bit crowded. It’s around 12 pm and I suggest morning is the best time to visit Dalada maligawa because Kandy is also very hot during these days. So I spend almost two hours there. Architecture of this place is amazing they blend the modern architecture with ancient kandiyan architect it was amazing. And I am sure this place will give you the mental peace also below I posted some clicks which I had taken there.
• Kandy View Point
I was waiting to visit this place so long hence this place is very famous among social media The Kandy City View point. This is the best place to get most picturesque view of city Kandy. I spend 12-20 mints there and also this place having some mini shops that people can buy small momentous.
• Balaji Dosai ( Restaurant )
This is a restaurant located right in front of the Dalada Maligawa and this is one of the best and old Indian restaurants in Kandy. All the authentic type dosas available here and I choose to eat masala dosa with mango lassie both taste really good. And they available balcony tables also in upstairs. Its highly recommended place. I can give 7 out of 10.
• Kandy City Center (KCC)
Kandy city center is one of the famous shopping complexes in Kandy like one Galle face in Colombo. I tried Ice cream and cool drink at basement food court and it’s really refreshing. I suggest this is the best place for shopping. Price was bit expensive compared to outside shops.
