Day 01 at Work | 1st Working Day 2022 | 5% to SL- Charity

It’s 2022 now and after a few days, I’m writing about the first day of working in 2022. 8 days passed days going like a flash. So this is the 2nd weekend of this month unofficially this is the first weekend because Jan 1st is also a beginning of a weekend this year is fixed with the long weekends and really good news for the travelers.

Last February I joined the company and this is my 11th month and this is my first new year in this company. I am working at a pharmaceutical company and mainly it produced injectable antibiotics. so around 4 am I got up and ready to go work on 3rd January so I took a bus around 5.15 and reached Panadura around 6.20 and I get into transport from Panadura to my workplace it is also a 1-hour journey and during school days’ time depends on traffic.

So first day they gifted a new diary and calendar for every employee so after taking those I took this photograph and I feel to write an article about my first day. The first day of work is actually a kick start for work throughout the years last year also we had a few breaks due to Covid few months we did work from home hoping this won’t be the same as last year.
Year's first long weekend is coming on next week it is 4 days holiday and hopes this long weekend not a beginning of new omicron variant because England is currently suffering from new Covid wave and numbers coming from England is really bad.
