You want to shave off the extra pounds that you accumilated over the holiday season. What do you need to do to get rid of the extra flabby chunk of stubburn fats around your belly?Hit the gym 6 times a week or chow down salads?

Recent studies have shown that in terms of weight loss, diet plays a much bigger role than just exercising alone.

Exercise alone requires time and consistent effort. It takes time to burn a significant amount of calories just with strenuous activity.

There are several high-sugar, high-calorie, high carb food that we can cut from our diet, which can make big change in our waistline, sometimes in a fairly shorter time period.

Tests on overweight men were done. They were divided into two groups. First group was to do weight training two hours after taking 600 calorie meal and then, another group trained on empty stomach. Tests than identified differences in gene expression levels that signalled just how their bodies’ fat tissue responded differently depending on whether they had consumed food or not.

Our body tend to burn more on empty stomach. Internal fat that are stores in our body are than broken down, to a greater degree, to sustain exercise and use as energy.

This is also a great way to reduce risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, or just lose weight. To do that you might want to skip or just have two meals a day.

Hence, Intermittent fasting was the hot topic burning on the internet. It is nothing new. We humans have been fasted in many occassion, whether its food scarcity in past history or for religious purpose but most of the time sleeping. Intermittent fasting is not a diet, but rather a dieting pattern. By fasting and then feasting on purpose, means eating your calories during a specific window of the day, and later not eating any food during the later part of the day. Only drink water throughout the fasted stated.You can do intermittent fasting on your comfort and convenient.

There are numbers of diet being share on the internet and in the gym. Its truely depends on you and your lifestyle which suits you the best with your daily routine.

In my next post i will cover the benefits and impact of intermittent fasting. How to implement fasting in our daily life for a leaner and healthier tomorrow. As well my personal experience on IF for three months, 16 hours fasting and 8 hours eating window.
