Bitcoin network usage and value 16-12-2018 4/4
Here I would like to present you some BITCOIN network data, that are useful, in my opinion, to get a better picture of the current value of the network, and accordingly, of the coin itself.
According to some theories, like the Mtcalfe law where a value of the network is calculated accordingly with how many people are currently using said network, more busy, and used is a network, more its value should be high.
It is easy to understand that if no one is using a certain network, even if it could be the best and more innovative ever, its value should be close to 0.
I started collecting the data and save them in a database the and since than I'm updating all the data once every hour.
All the data come from the blockchain.info API service.
THE CURRENT BITCOIN HASHRATE IS 33401426690.0 GIGA HASHES.
The hashrate is an important data to understand how safe the bitcoin network is. Higher the hashrate more difficult and expensive is to attack the network.
THE TOTAL TRANSACTIONS COUNTS DURING THE LAST 24 HOURS IS 226121
THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF BITCOIN TRANSACTED IN THE LAST 24 HOURS IS 828482.81453704
THE TOTAL VALUE IN EURO OF THE LAST 24 TRANSACTIONS IS 2349825806.8714066
THE TOTAL NUMBERS OF ACCOUNTS REGISTERED AT BLOCKCHAIN.COM IS 31528674
THE TOTAL NUMBER OF UNIQUE ADDRESSES USED ON THE BITCOIN BLOCKCHAIN IS 397643
All of these data, in our opinion, are a good indicator of the current status of the network and its evolution during time.
Thank for reading.
Next UPDATE in 6 hours!
