Dubai Is Transforming Into an Open Air Museum
You might know Dubai for its skyscrapers, modern buildings, seven-star hotels, big highways, and until recently you could not really see street art. Fortunately, The city is turning into a street art museum thanks to an initiation by Dubai Municipality to make the city more vibrant and colorful.
Dubai Walls project will turn the city into an open air museum, and some big names are invited to participate from the street art world, including Rone, Eine, Nick Walker, Magda Sayeg and Blek Le Rat, have left their creative stamp all over City Walk in Jumeirah.
Without further due, let's take a look at some of the art that is already completed, hope you enjoy it:
Let me know what do you think about this initiation, I personally find it very positive for local art as well as tourism, it makes the city more artistic and fun to enjoy. also, what is your favorite place in the world for street art?
Stay tuned for more Art @digdaga!
Looks very tasteful to me. The Wynwood district of Miami FL is especially known for its street art. Do a search on "Miami Wynwood street art" for an eye-full. My observation is they must use some very special painting materials to withstand the intense Sun in Dubai.
I did search for it, and that place looks amazing, seems like a street art heaven. Thanks for the tip. As for Dubai, I am not really sure which kind of paint they are using, but since the Municipality of Dubai is involve, I think they should be supplying them with the best heat resistant paint out there as they take the overlook of the city very seriously.
wooooow amazing

They are indeed very artistic street art, unlike those graffiti. It would really cool if you would share the locations of where these street arts would be found. Do you know Georgetown in Penang has a tons of wonderful street arts like that too?
All of the above are in Dubai, but mainly on Jumeirah Road, Citywalk of Jumeirah, Dubai Box Park, and Diyafah Road.
