Technology has emerged as an aid to human needs, but over the years this has become expensive and difficult for everyone to access, the goal of BCN3D MOVEO is to bring this technology to everyone by creating this intelligent robotic arm, from a fully open source so that everyone without exception can access it.
It is designed especially for education as its manufacturers say:
One of the concerns of the Department of Education is the high price of materials that grade students must use in their internships. With this in mind, an open-source robotic arm, adaptable by students and reproducible at low cost could take several educational itineraries: mechanical design, automation, industrial programming, etc., easily accessible to students.

I'm all in to open source gadget or projects and this one it's really really cool, since it is a robot arm with many mobility points and that also can be easily programmed to execute different kind of activities and tasks. The best thing about this robotic arm, aside from being open source, is that it is extremely low cost.
Technologically a product in Open Source projects. A robot arm made in 3D way design. full programmable. Since it is also Open Source, people who want can contribute.
3D printed robot arm is very nice robotic system. I always liked that kind of robots. It has very unique programmable qualities which is very interesting. Your hunt is awesome.
