Que es plagio;
It is defined in the Diccionario de la lengua Española de la Real Academia Española as the action of "substantially copying the works of others, presenting them as one's own". From the legal point of view, it is an infringement of the copyright of an artistic or intellectual work of any kind, which is incurred when a work of others is presented as their own or original.
The only difference between plagiarism and other types of theft is that material goods are not stolen, but ideas are stolen, and like other forms of theft, plagiarism is a crime and therefore can have serious legal consequences.
In Venezuela plagiarism is not illegal, it is still a deplorable ethical behavior, but in most first world countries it is a crime because it violates the copyright of a person or institution.
Cuando se comete un plagio;
1.- Al presentar las ideas originales de otra persona, de manera modificada, sin citación de la fuente.
2.- Al citar incorrectamente una fuente de información.
3.- Al utilizar las palabras de otras personas sin indicarlo como cita en el texto o citar la fuente en la lista de referencias bibliográficas.
4.- Al simular ser el dueño del trabajo de otra persona.
When plagiarism is committed;
1.- When presenting the original ideas of another person, in a modified manner, without citation of the source.
2.- By incorrectly citing a source of information.
3.- When using the words of other people without indicating it as a quotation in the text or citing the source in the list of bibliographical references.
4.- By pretending to be the owner of another person's work.
It is important to note that plagiarism within the Steemit platform is unacceptable, if a publication includes information that belongs to someone else, it is mandatory to cite the source to which it belongs.
