So while trawling through the New section I came across an interesting post. Having read it I saw it was edited by @blue-pencil "Blue pencil, what's all that about then?" I hopped over to the profile and scrolled down to what appears to be their second post (Steemit really should have a better bio section for peoples accounts) and dicovered that it's a group of individuals offering a proof reading and editing service. What a brilliant idea! I'm certain there are lots of people out there who have literally hundreds of topics they would love to write about but don't have the confidence in the spelling, grammar and formatting skills.

$5.00 SBD does seem a bit pricey for a new or struggling Steemian but "You've got to speculate to accumulate" in my opinion.
I think it's a great idea and more beneficial than some of the 'promoting' services out there because it gives you the opportunity to compare your original work with Blue Pencils offering and learn how to produce better publications.
