It is called VANIG, an emerging e-commerce platform on the blockchain.


Vanig is a blockchain project with a unique aim. This aim is to revolutionize the e-commerce industry - of course by utilizing the blockchain technology.


Vanig is an e-commerce platform – or rather I should say a shopping platform – that would link manufacturers with their consumers, making online shopping an easy and enjoyable experience for all. Its second aim is to also provide consumers with total information regarding goods on the platform such as the raw materials and their sources which in a way would be of help to new business startups who might have the intention of going into such goods productions.


Well, we all know the challenges with e-commerce/online businesses at present and also in getting comprehensive informations about products we buy - be it online or offline.

• At present, getting information as regard raw materials used in industrial productions is extremely difficult. The fact here is that information on most products out there in the market are concealed (intentionally or unintentionally) from their users and new startups hence, one often spend a great deal of effort and pain digging them out. This situation constitutes obstacle and easily discourages new startups and can at times turn off consumers from certain goods.
• It is difficult tracking sources of raw material used in industrial productions at present. This is yet another setback especially to new startups as they might not know from where to order the materials they need for production.
• The problem of middlemen is well known in e-commerce especially since in most cases the supply chain is long, often inevitably resulting in high cost of goods.
• Added to these problems, there’s often delay in settling sellers for their goods because in most cases, the sellers have to hold on until the goods get to the consumers in good condition.

To check these problems, vanig is offering a platform where detailed information on every single product offered on its system is made available. These information include the raw materials used in industrial production of the goods such as their sources, nature, etc; and these would be stored in the platform for easy access especially for new startups.
