Google sets October 4 for Pixel 2 launch event
Google has started a new promotion and site that encourages viewers to ask more questions, and the new landing page is part of the sub-site of mydeby.google.com and contains the phrase "Do you think about changing your phone?".
Google launched its first Pixel on October 4, 2016, and Google seems to be planning to introduce the next generation on the same day a year later.
The word ask more seems to be promoting the enhanced Google Voice Assistant, which is supposed to offer more on demand. There is no further details on the Google promotional video side, which presents the specifications and shape of the next Pixel 2 phone, which will be manufactured by HTC and the Pixel 2 XL phone, which is expected to be manufactured by LG.
The company's promotional video features some random questions such as "Why images are confused" which may indicate that the phone will come with OIS Optical Image Stabilizer, where HTC has some of the best optical image stabilizers in the industry.
There's also a question about "Why is the phone hot or slow?" This may be Google's way of pointing to a back panel and a glass front panel.
Unusual questions about why the device does not understand the user's requests seem to target iPhone and Syriac devices, as most devices now come with a Google Voice Assistant.
Although Apple did not mention its personal assistant, Siri, in the iPhone X display, Google has made its voice assistant and smartphones the main selling point for Pixel devices.
