Last Wednesday, @hypnopreneur organized a #Steem meetup (announcement) at the usual spot, the Institute Bar in the Spring Garden Section of Philadelphia. This is the third #steemphilly #meetup and the second I've been to. Lot's of great people as always including @cryptoxbb @treblemakur @ginanicole @djcarlitoz @elima and @mellofello. Comment with anyone I missed.
Anyways, @yadapmatt and @hypnopreneur did a Steem Q&A at the end of the night. I volunteered to record. As you'll see the quality is not great... next time we need a microphone, so we can get better audio quality. Hopefully, someone will find something useful in the recording! Make sure to comment with any quotes or sections you think are informative or have questions about.
To capture the screen during the Q&A, I used SimpleScreenRecorder and for video editing I used kdenlive. Fast forward to the end to see the controversial comment unfold where we discovered how to center text on steemit.com using the comment section of @emmyem84's post.

Good stuff man! thanks for the post and shout out. I've tried to watch the video a few times, but it has yet to load. But I will persist, until it does. Hopefully Dtube gets better with time. Thanks for doing it though, I didn't realize you had it online with a day or two.
Next time give me a heads up here on via discord. And let's look into a Mic set up as well. Maybe Phil can help with it when he gets back. :)
Sorry to hear that he video doesn't play for you, but thanks for the report. I'm guessing @dtube doesn't do any processing of uploaded videos, and that your browser may have some issues playing the codecs in my upload. In the future, I'll look into using the following encoding from this tweet by Saleem Rashid:

Oh my goodness..... LOL. I have to say my heart sank when I realized you guys were looking at my stuff through a projector! I am new to all of this, and pretty self conscious. I have been trying really hard though and appreciate the kind words. Watching the part about the "controversial comment" was so funny!

Hi. You must have met my teammates @mellofello and @andykapps at the Steemit meetup. :) I didn't get a chance to go. They're on this account too. @mellofello doesn't know about Gina yet, but I will let him know you mentioned him.

Ah yes! I met your teammates. Definitely come to the next meetup if you can. I've been to lot's of meetups in my life and I can attest that #steemphilly is legit. Very low key, but also productive in terms of learning more about Steem and growing your Steem network.
Really, you've been to others? That's pretty awesome. It would be great to meet others in our area and see why they like the steemit platform. Our team is involved in a great #newbieresteemday community here on steemit with wonderful like-minded individuals. Would be great to meet the Philadelphia community. I think building relationships and community is one of the best attribute of steemit.
