At times we keep trying to do some stuff but the more we do it the more we stumble over the same stone over and over again. Things we are doing may seems unsuccessful or becomes more harder, it may be best to stop trying. It's a decision. Stopping doesn't mean you are giving Up on your past achievements it may just be that you need to learn more.
Sometimes doing nothing may just be a way of stopping or moving away from what is hurting us.
For example, you and your friend keeps arguing over a situation that you know would worsen what is one ground and the argument won't shine more light. In that case you do nothing because you know so well that if you continue it going to get worse.
It's better to stay calm and do nothing when you know that your next move is going to mess you up.
