I am probably making the best meal in the world right now and I haven't blogged in days again so while it cooks I figure this is the time to blog it up!

I got a really awesome spiralizer recently that can do beets, potatoes, etc ...it makes for such a visually pleasing and fun meal that I get really happy every time I use it.

What me and the Decemberists have in common

Today this Italian sausage was on sale at our local grocery store. It's just a regular type of local store that isn't a chain..and so it is kind of cheap and they have good sales. It's called The Orange Street Food Farm and it's mentioned in the Apology Song , listen here while you read!. The song is about a bike named Madeline that gets stolen in front of this store. Cuz those guys are from here. it's actually a great store.

I like how small it is because I don't feel overwhelmed in there and also they have an excellent selection of wine and beer. Here is a photo from their Facebook of thier silly Mario themed window recently

Anyway that's where I got the sausage for this dish that I am cooking while I type into my phone and listen to the Decemberists.... I am probably just going to add some tomatoes eat it as is. The sausage is nice and spicy and there really doesn't need to be much else added. I am a simple gal. Yes, that's what I am doing...

While that cooks down...

I want to open my home up to steemians this summer who are traveling. I really like that Steemit project where people trade services to couch surf. I need a fence built, and some other stuff around here. And I would love to show you around this town...it's like a magical Shire this time of year till about July. I will post a swap posts soon with the appropriate tags....I am just in my phone....can't remember....

I better clean up the kitchen while I wait for my food...
