Queen’s Beast SIX Falcon of the Plantagenets has arrived!!! 😃
Look at that cute little falcon holding a banner with ANOTHER cute little falcon on it! This beastly beauty, issued by the Royal Mint, comes comes in at 2oz of .9999 silver. The coin has a £5 face value and the obverse displays the standard picture of Queen Elizabeth. The coin’s edge is reeded.
I really like the texture stamped into the silver behind the Queen’s image.

I got three of the six at Northgate Rare Coin earlier this year. The middle three. Then I had to order the first 2 online and by then the price had gone waaaay up. I bought this one and will get the rest online as they are released. Northgate will probably get some but I would hate to miss out and have to over pay for any of them going forward.
Nice @dfinney! The Queen's Beast look awesome, but I cannot wait to see them all in one photo. They have great designs and are a great way to grow the stack at 2 ounces a piece.
I think the Yale of Beaufort will be super cool when it’s turn comes up. Looks like it will have horns like a big horn sheep!
