Those eyes though!! - Original Work

Lately I've been tossing around the idea of doing Steemit posts of the photos that we put up on our other social media since we post quite frequently. I have been and will continue to use Steemit mainly as an amazing place to post photos and travel stories that I love but that don't really fit in to our professional blog and website (dallaskolotylo.com and dallaskphoto.com if you are interested) but I thought this shot we shared today might be a good place to start posting some of our wedding work because it's one I've always loved.

We photographed this couple's wedding a few years ago and while we were out doing portraits with them I noticed this really great light that was reflecting off of the groom's white shirt and lighting up the brides face and eyes just perfectly. You can see she has these big beautiful eyes to begin with, and as I was standing behind the groom I did a favorite trick of mine and just called her name. What this tends to do is get people to immediately look directly at you, and there is often a moment there that you can catch. It's tough to get, but when you hit it you hit it good.
