Black Mirror - Tv Series (ITA/ENG)

Angosciante, riflessiva, claustrofobica, futuristica, eclettica: ecco alcuni aggettivi per descrivere un serie televisiva fuori dal normale.

Il filo conduttore di questa serie è il progredire della tecnologia, ogni episodio narra una storia diversa dalla durata media di una cinquantina di minuti.

Sin dal primo episodio si ha la sensazione di assistere a qualcosa di nuovo, vengono trattati temi pesanti ma senza esagerare nei particolare, non cade mai nella banalità.

• Episodio 1:

  
  Il primo ministro inglese è obbligato a far sesso in diretta TV per salvare la vita della principessa che è stata rapita. Non si vede alcun particolare scioccante ma il solo tema fa venire i brividi, le reazioni delle persone che assistono al fatto davanti gli schermi rappresentano le reazioni più disparate che si possano immaginare ed è proprio questo che preoccupa: chi avrebbe il coraggio di stare davanti alla televisione a guardare una scena del genere senza provare vergogna, paura o disprezzo?
  Riuscirà il ministro a ricomporre la sua reputazione dopo questo brutto episodio o magari riuscirà addirittura a migliorare la sua immagine?

• Episodio 2:

  
  Una società dove l'importante è apparire, una denuncia sui programmi d'intrattenimento, in cui si vive dentro grossi stabilimenti facendo cyclette davanti ad uno schermo accumulando punti per poter partecipare ad un talent show che li potrebbe rendere famosi. Una società dove essere obesi comporta ad essere delegato a fare lo spazzino e ad essere rinchiusi nella propria camera con pareti fatte di schermi televisivi, che ti impediscono di non guardare la pubblicità, che si può saltare soltanto se hai accumulato sufficienti punti: cosa succede se un ragazzo tenta di ribellarsi al sistema facendo un gesto estremo davanti a milioni di persone in diretta televisiva? Riuscirà a cambiare qualcosa o verrà risucchiato dal sistema?

• Episodio 3:

  
  Appena nato ti viene impiantato un congegno dietro l'orecchio che interagisce con la vista e ti permette di registrare tutto ciò che vedi nell'arco della tua vita. Un computer nel cervello che ti permette di registrare i ricordi e di riviverli quando più ti aggrada proiettandoli su uno schermo qualsiasi: quante paranoie potresti farti su un semplice sguardo che ti è stato rivolto o una parola detta male? Cosa può succedere se diventi geloso e costringi la tua ragazza a farti rivivere i suoi ricordi? A che punto sei disposto ad arrivare per far valere le tue ragioni? Tutto è schedato, registrato 24 ore su 24, ma sei sicuro che sia un bene?

• Episodio 4:

  
  Si permette alle persone di poter avere un clone di una persona defunta che interagisce con un sito su cui immettere tutte le informazioni prese dai social per poter rivivere i ricordi assieme alla persona che ti ha lasciato. Cosa succederà quando da questo clone ti aspetti che contraccambi il tuo amore? A che punto arriverai quando ti renderai conto che un robot non può prendere decisioni autonome? La solitudine può fare raggiungere momenti strazianti, ma sei sicuro che questa sia una soluzione e ne valga la pena?

• Episodio 5:

  
  Svegliarsi senza ricordare nulla della propria vita. Vagare senza meta braccata come un animale selvaggio assieme ad una bambina incontrata per caso di cui vuoi prenderti inconsciamente cura. Incontrare degli sconosciuti senza sapere chi sono e dai quali non è possibile fidarsi. Un furgone con raffigurato un orso bianco ti segue ovunque tu vada. E se ti trovassi ad essere la star di uno show televisivo senza saperlo? Chi ti braccava può far parte del pubblico? Tutto ciò che è accaduto potrebbe ripetersi all'infinito?

• Episodio 6:

  
  Per salvare la propria carriera un comico fallito ricorre ad associare la propria immagine ad un cartone animato intervistando personaggi pubblici. Nato come programma per bambini diventa un programma di attualità notturno. Ma se il cartone animato volesse partecipare alle prossime elezioni politiche? Cosa succederebbe se l'avatar avesse più personalità di chi gli sta dietro? Vale la pena di mischiare la propria vita sentimentale con gli affari? E se il comico si rendesse conto ad un certo punto che la situazione gli è sfuggita di controllo?

Black Mirror mette tanta carne al fuoco e lascia più dubbi che certezze, ogni episodio è una lama affilata che tenta di colpire coscienza ed anima.
Pensate che il presente sia un incubo? Provate a pensare che in futuro potrebbe essere ancora peggio.
Le prime due stagioni, di 3 episodi l'una, sono state prodotte dal canale inglese Channel 4 per poi essere preso in mano da Netflix che però è risuscita a commercializzarla parecchio facendole perdere uno stile unico che poche serie potevano permettersi di avere, dunque meglio non menzionarle.

The thread of this series is the progress of technology, each episode tells a different story from a duration of about fifty minutes each one.

From the first episode you have the feeling of seeing something new, they are dealing with heavy themes but without exaggerating in details and never falls into banality.

• Episode 1:

  
  English prime minister is forced to have sex with a pig live on TV to save the life of the princess who has been kidnapped. You do not see any shocking scene, just the theme makes the chills come, the reactions of the people who stand in front of the TV screens having the most disparate reactions that you can imagine, and that's what worries: who would have the courage to stand in front of television to watch such a scene without being ashamed, afraid or contemptuous?
  Will the minister succeed in recompending his reputation after this nasty episode or perhaps even succeed in improving his image?

• Episode 2:

  
  
  A society where the important thing is to appear, a complaint about entertainment programs, living in large establishments by making exercise bike in front of a screen, accumulating points to participate to a talent show that could make them famous. A society to be obese means to be delegated to sweep, and to be locked in their own room with walls made of television screens, which prevent you from watching the advertisement, which you can skip only if you have accumulated enough points: what will happen if a guy try to rebel against the system by making an extreme gesture in front of millions of peple on live television? Will it be able to change something or will it merge into the system?

• Episode 3:

  
  
  From born you have implanted a device behind your ear that interacts with your eyesight and lets you record everything you see in your life. A computer in the brain, that allows you to record your memories and watch them when you desire by projecting them on any screen: how many paranoia could you make on a simple look that was addressed to you or a bad word? What if you become jealous and force your girlfriend to relive her memories? To what extent are you willing to come to substantiate your reasons? Everything is filed, recorded 24 hours a day, but are you sure it's good?

• Episode 4:

  
  
  It allows people to have a clone of a deceased person who interacts with a site on which to enter all social information so that they can relive the memories together with the person who left you. What will happen when this clone expects you to return your love? What point will you get when you realize that a robot can not make autonomous decisions? Loneliness can make heartbreaking moments, but are you sure this is a solution and is it worth it?

• Episode 5:

  
  
  Wake up without remembering anything about your life. Wandering without a goal, hunted as a wild animal, with a little girl you meet around for which you want to take unconsciously care. Meet strangers without knowing who they are and from whom you can not trust. A truck with a white bear airbrushing follows you wherever you go. And if you were the star of a TV show without knowing it? Who hunted you can be part of the public? Anything that happened to you could be repeated again and again?

• Episode 6:

  
  To save his career a failed comedian associate his image with a cartoon, interviewing public figures. Born as a children's program it becomes a topical program of the night. But if the cartoon wanted to participate in the next political elections? What if the avatar had more personality than the person behind him? Is it worth to mix your love life with your business? And if the comedian realized at some point that the situation isn't under control anymore?

Black Mirror puts so much iron on fire and leaves more doubt than certainties, every episode is a edgy blade that tries to hit consciousness and soul.
Do you think the present is a nightmare? Try to think that in the future it might be even worse.
The first two seasons, 3 episodes each, were produced by the English TV "Channel 4", and then taken over by Netflix, but it has commercialized it a lot by losing a unique style that a few series could afford to have, so I better to do not mention it.
