Back to normal?

The situation seems to be returning to normal, although is expected a backfire this fall.
We all hope the calculations are wrong and trust in people's diligence to comply with safety regulations.
Lately, in the community where I've been working, the air is very different, everyone is much more relaxed and since yesterday we've abandoned our gowns, shoes, headphones and gloves after the civil defense has given the go-ahead, which has the task of watching over the communities in the area with periodic checks, wearing only the mask and maintaining safety distances.
The first one is worn by all 25 guests especially during the structure's exits, some of them are still struggling but 99% of them seem to have got used to the fact that they have to wear it for a long time.
Regarding the distance of one meter unfortunately it is practically impossible, some of them have no idea where they live in, they can't conceive the idea of not holding people's hands to greet them, a habit so deep-rooted that it is very difficult to take away.
Walking around the village often, as I walk almost all day in bars and shops, I notice that they are not the only ones, I see a lot of people crowded on the shelves passing a few inches from each other as if we had already returned to normal a long time ago, they use masks but staying at a distance is hard.
Devices are like clothes and are accepted, while staying away from people is probably something that for many is almost unnatural. Luckily for us, we are one of the very few communities to have come out 100% negative swabs.
I hope that everything continues for the best and that this nightmare is completely over, hoping that it will soon be resolved in all those parts of the world that are still stuck.

La situazione sembra stare tornando alla normalità, anche se è previsto un ritorno di fiamma per questo autunno.
Tutti noi ci auguriamo che i calcoli siano sbagliati e confidiamo nella diligenza delle persone nel rispettare le norme di sicurezza.
Nella comunità dove lavoro da qualche tempo a questa parte si respira un'aria decisamente differente, il clima è molto più disteso e da ieri abbiamo abbandonato camice, calzari, cuffie e guanti dopo il via libera della protezione civile, alla quale tocca il compito di vigilare sulle comunità del territorio con controlli periodici, nel portare più soltanto la mascherina e mantenere le distanze di sicurezza.
La prima viene portata da tutti e 25 gli ospiti soprattutto durante le uscite dalla struttura, alcuni fanno ancora fatica ma il 99% di loro sembrano essersi abituati al fatto di doverla portare ancora a lungo.
Riguardo alla distanza di un metro purtroppo invece è praticamente impossibile, alcuni di loro non hanno idea in che paese vivano, figuriamoci se concepiscono l'idea del non porgere la mano alle persone per salutarle, un abitudine talmente radicata che è assai difficile da togliere.
Girando spesso per il paese, dato che cammino praticamente tutto il giorno per andare in bar e ristoranti, noto che non sono i soli, vedo molta gente accalcata sugli scaffali passando a pochi centimetri l'una dall'altra come se fossimo già tornati alla normalità da un pezzo, usano mascherine ma stare a distanza risulta dura.
I dispositivi sono degli indumenti e vengono accettati, mentre stare lontani dalle persone è una cosa che probabilmente per molti è quasi innaturale. Per nostra fortuna siamo una delle pochissime comunità ad essere usciti indenni con il 100% di negatività dei tamponi.
Speriamo che tutto prosegua per il meglio e che questo incubo sia finito del tutto, sperando che si risolva presto anche in tutte quelle parti del mondo in cui sono ancora bloccati.
