Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park Bali Indonesia
Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a cultural park complex covering an area of more or less 60 hectares with a statue of Garuda and Vishnu as the main object that has a height if it has been completely built about 120 meters with a wingspan of Garuda about 60 meters and will make it the largest sculpture in the world. Although not 100% completed yet this cultural park complex has presented a very complete integrated tour that presents Bali thoroughly.
Garuda Wisnu Kencana or also called GWK is now become one of the tourist destinations in Bali Island. Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a Cultural Park which located in Ungasan Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali province, Indonesia. The traveling time from downtown Denpasar (capital of Bali Province) is about 45 minutes by car. The attractiveness of this park is the existence of two very large statues, the statue of Garuda and statue of Vishnu,and beside that we can also watch the Balinese dance as a daily live performance in this park such as Barong dance and Kecak dance.
