Three Weeks on Steemit what have we acheived - De Wallen
So time does really fly...
We have been on Steemit for three weeks as of today and boy has it been great!!!
We started the Steemit account to explore an extra avenue to help fund our band and possible reach out to more people about our music. Here is what we have achieved in three weeks and what it really means for the future of De Wallen.
We started out with no followers and now have: 293
We started out with a reputation score of 25 and we are now at 49
We have made SBD and Steem to the total of $147 at the current BTC/Dollar rate.
What this means for the band is that we have exposed our music to a minimum of 293 new people (a bit more as these are only those who chose to follow us). We have built up new contacts and respect in the community and the big kicker:
With $147 we can already pay for 2 of our 5 visa's or 1 - 5th of a plane ticket for our Europe tour next year!!!
This tour is really a dream of the band since day one and after 6 years of fighting we can finally do it, but it will be costing us roughly about $6200 to get all 5 of us visa's, plane tickets and paying for our booking agent. So to have already been able to cover $147 of the $6200 in three weeks though just promoting ourselves and telling you the Steemit community a bit more about us is really just a true blessing.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you,
just remember to Live a Little.
Way to go! Congratulations!
Thank you @cecirod1218
Due to the fact that the drumplayer is actually "leading", send him over first, then at least we already have someone here. New money ... next one, and so on. Why wait till the end of next year for Tour Europe, hahaha
hahahahhaha great idea @smasssh, but if anyone is coming first it's going to be me!!! I am actually relocating to the Netherlands next year, I'm coming on the 16th of September all ready to come and look for possible job opportunities as a stage tech/sound engineer.
Kiff vibes guys!!
Thanks @morkrock, shot for the support.
That's great to hear. Wish you the best of luck because it must be really tough to make it in the music business in this day and age.
@michaelmay, you have no idea, but it's platforms like Steemit that really help artist to have some breathing space and focus on their art.
