Ramen vs Teppanyaki at Ishimura Japanese Kitchen

Talking about Japanese food, all of us must be familiar with ramen, udon, teppanyaki, bento, tempura and so on. This time I would like to share a Japanese food stall which was located in a food court at 4A floor, the Plaza Semanggi.

The food court was not too crowded because it had many chairs and tables in an enormous dining area. The place was clean and neat.

The foodstall was not big, the name was Ishimura, Japanese kitchen. It was our first time to try the Japanese food here.

Their menus

First time I would like to try the bento, but because the beef was teriyaki, they couldn't make it into yakiniku so I changed my ordered into beef teppanyaki set.

Our food

Mine was Beef teppanyaki set with miso soup and rice

The taste of the beef was savory, sweet and also a bit spicy. I knew the chief put pepper on it. I didn't like the spicy taste from pepper. The miso soup was just fine.

Mom was luckier than me. Her food was shoyu beef ramen.

The flavor was savory and a bit sweet.

Overall, the food was quite fine, the service was quite fast and the dining area was clean and neat.
