Pork for Lunar New Year Lunch!

Hello, friends especially foodies!
Today is lunar new year, after we had visited grandma then we had our lunch outside to one of the newest restaurant which was located on 3A floor Sky bridge Grand Indonesia Shopping Center. Once we passed by there, many were there and also we already had had our lunch that day so we couldn't have our lunch there that day.

Here how the restaurant looked like

They had a strict regulation before entering we should measure our body temperature and also took the sanitizer at the same time. Also they had a limitation of customer number too.

They had a quite large comfy dining area with the chinese interior.

The menu they had outside, and you also needed to scan the barcode that was given to you then order it online. So that what i did.

They had the bak kut teh menu and some other pork menus. I thought they were singaporean restaurant.

After had ordered we were only waiting for around 15 minutes to get the food delivered.

The food all looked tempting but.. how about the taste?

The meesuah

It had the pork broth and only had light savory flavour. The broth was too thick and the garlic they gave couldn't reduce the pork's smell which was not good. It would taste better if they put ginger in it.

The braised pork belly

It was soft but not hot. It also had the light flavour of savory and sweet, so you must put the soy sauce on it to make it taste better.

Home made ngoh hiang

It had savory flavour. A bit crispy outside and tasty soft inside. They used pork and shrimp as the filling. It was the tastiest menu we had for the lunch.

The salted sour vegetable and braised egg

Sour vegetables were soft and only had light savory sour flavour. Braised egg had sweet flavour.

The price for the lunch was 236,115 IDR or around 16.87 USD. Too expensive for that flavour :'
