Food Hunting: Crazy duel- Burger and Fried chicken battle

Hello, friends especially foodies!

Maybe this is your first time reading my article, but maybe it is not your first time. I often write about food battle, this time i would like to compare two famous worldwide fast food restaurant in serving burger and also fried chicken. What are they? Let's check it out.

Today we went to take a brunch in a famous worldwide american fast food restaurant, AW.

The outlet was located on 2nd floor ITC fatmawati, South Jakarta. When we came at 10 am something this morning, they just opened it, so for the food we had to wait for a couple of minute.

The outlet was not too large. It was not too many customers there cause it hadn't been the dining time yet.

The dining area was not too large but it was clean, neat and comfortable.

They had the washing hand area and next to it, the sauce station where you could take chilli or tomato sauce.

They hanged the menu on their back and also on the table.

The waitress served us well. She was nice, kind, friendly and informative. I liked the way she served us.

What we ordered today:
Mine came first, only 10 minutes after we ordered.
I tried their package of a deluxe burger plus a glass of the AW rootbeer. And guess what?

It was the best burger i've ever had. They had the patty, crispy ham, letucce, tomato and cucumber pickle with the mayonaise taste. All of the vegetables were so fresh, i even ate the tomato although i usually don't like tomato. And the patty and also the crispy ham tasted savory. Mayonaise sauce was not too thick and also not too sour which was great too. The burger's buns were great too, soft. It was really delicious.

Mom chose the package of a chicken (she could choose the large piece of the chicken), a rice and a glass of AW rootbeer plus a perkedel.

Guess what? The chicken tasted so good. Crispy an savory on the skin but inside was not too oily but the chicken was soft and fresh. The perkedel inside was combination between the mashed potato and also some corn which made it a bit weird, the taste was a bit savory but it was not the best we've ever had.

Their rootbeer also the best, i loved it whether it combined with the ice cream (ice float) or like today just the way it was, it was fresh and a bit sweet.

And the price, for mom's it was 42,000 IDR and mine was 31,500 IDR. So altogether we spent 73,500 IDR or around 5 USD something.

Now, I would like to compare the burger and fried chicken today with what we had before at wendy's outlet on 5th floor Pacific Place Mall, SCBD - South Jakarta.

The outlet was just ordinary like AW or another fast food restaurant, simple, clean and neat. The waitress or waiter here were also helpful and friendly. The dining area here was quite large and it was comfortable to be here. You could check it on my article before.

Now i would like to compare the burger and also fried chicken. Last weekend we went to wendy's and here what we ordered.

Mom's was the a la carte cheese burger and also a large french fries.

What's inside the cheese burger were a patty, a cheese sliced, some cucumber pickles (really sour) and they put the tomato sauce inside. The burger buns were soft, patty tasted savory and it was ordinary cheese burger, nothing special with it.

I chose the package of two fried chicken, a rice and a lemon tea.

The fried chicken tasted savory but all were fine. Nothing's special about it. Inside were not too oily. The lemon tea was fresh and sweet.

And the price for what we had here, mom's was 55,000 IDR while my package was 48,000 IDR. So it was 103,000 IDR or around 7.4 USD, but i am sorry i didn't take any pictures of it.

I think the winner this time was AW cause their deluxe burger was great and their chicken was better than wendy's too! But the choice is yours, how do you think?
