Humility Over Rudeness
When you see someone who goes around disrespecting people and acting arrogant, it's only a matter of time, and they see the error of their ways. It hardly pays to be rude and arrogant to people. Some people don't just care whose feelings get hurt, and that's bad.
There's an old saying that, "Pride goes before a fall." That's particularly true for most people who are very rude, and who show bad manners and behavior to people around them. When they find themselves in a tough corner, there's usually no shoulder for them to lean on.
On the other hand, humility has been known to open doors of favor for people. When you respect people, make people feel good about themselves, and put a smile on their faces, it comes with many benefits to you. One obvious benefit is that you'll have friends if you ever need any assistance.
Some people may argue that they don't need any assistance from anyone, hence they don't need to show kindness or humility to anyone. But the fact is, nobody is an island. You will never know if one day, you'll need the simplest assistance from someone, but won't get it because of your rudeness towards them.
It doesn't hurt to be kind and humble. You don't need to talk too much to show kindness and respect for people. All you really need is a smile on your face. Also, if you're into business, these people you show kindness and humility to, will happily patronize you.
Pride is annoying and it brings a man down, humility is the key to growth and life improvement.
