Rainbow in Manhattan
July 25, 2016.
After months of late-night studying, too many 50+ hour work weeks, a five block walk in the rain, and a near miss with a bike messenger, I arrived at The New Yorker Hotel just after 8:00 PM only to be told that they could not locate my reservation. I was taking the bar exam the next morning and, needless to say, was not in the mood. Luckily I was only forced to pout in the lobby for ten minutes or so before being given my room key. Phew.
So I went to my room, threw my bag on the bed and, just as I was about to start ruminating about how I hated everything and everyone, I caught my first NYC rainbow.
Crisis averted.

Thanks! I was on a rampage and headed straight for a meltdown (haha whoops). But it was a much-needed moment that showed me how truly important it is to be mindful.
This photo is great! Rainbows and rain always make me feel so peaceful. Pictures like this make me want to live in NYC, I love the big cities.
