Embarking on Venice
History and romanticism permeate this city full of secrets hidden under an architecture built on the ocean.

Venice is more than a city, it is a group that gathers 120 islands by floating bridges; a unique paradise, completely different from the rest of the cities of the world. Visiting it is a dream come true, even when in the fall and spring seasons it usually floods. It is clearly an archipelago of love.
Despite being quite busy, this floating city is a safe place for its inhabitants and tourists; however, it must be borne in mind that the presence of pickpockets is inevitable, so do not be too distracted by cultural proposals and forget personal things. Regarding the hours of the shops in the town, most stores are usually open from Monday to Saturday.

Mandatory destinations
Knowing what is the best of the city will be the perfect move to make the most of the short vacation time. to make things simpler, I have dedicated myself to investigate a little about this city and I have found these places quite visited:
1- St. Mark's Basilica
It provides a synthesis of art and history, based on mosaics and wonders of the eighteenth century.
2- Palazzo Ducale
With large walls and ceilings covered with paintings and lavish sculptures. It conserves one of the greatest works of all time.
3- Clock Tower
It marks the time of the city for more than 500 years, with statues representing the wise men.
4- The Ghetto
Created in 1516 for the Jewish community, it is famous for the play ** The Merchant of Venice **, by William Shakespeare.
Traveling in a gondola will be almost obligatory and contrary to what many people think, it is ENOUGH COCKFUL, so you should try not to abuse its use.
