Hello steemians!

A few days ago I said I was traveling to Osun state to meet up with @gbenga and @ehiboss to discuss about plans concerning the promotion of steemit in our dear country Nigeria.

Steemit in Nigeria is not a game

As with any other event out there, proper planning and structuring must be put in place before it succeeds.

It was necessary that a meetup be arranged in order to get things moving.

As part of our relentless efforts to bring about a crypto revolution within the Nigeria community, we met, discussed , laughed, had fun, got serious and discussed again.

We covered and discussed about each others weaknesses and how to help people coming to the event.

The meeting began by roughly 2:45pm and lasted to about 8 in the evening, where the meeting was adjourned to Wednesday 16 august 2017.

The location of the meetup was at glory suite hotel, Ile-ife Osun state Nigeria

A vision foreseen, a plan long conceived.

Its been 3 months since the plans for steemit in Nigeria was first conceived. @ehiboss contacted me to get the very first prototype flyer up and running.

And ever since then, we have been hard at work making plans, moving places, location and even dates.

Multiple travels to various locations across nigeria proved that having the event in certain areas would prove too inconvenient for our current capacity, we shifted those plans to 2018. .

A producer and at once an event coordinator

I've also been hard at work with my task of getting the entertainment section top notch on that 2 and 3rd of November, that includes everything

music ,
DJ's
Music artists
Comedy
And partly refreshments . . . .
